New Monopoly Collection Pictures
Thank you for taking a look at my collection of Monopoly games and related items. I've got most of the collection
cataloged and listed, but it needs to be updated. These pictures were taken around January, 1998
and reflect about one-third of my actual collection. They're not quite as nice as the "old" pictures because
I shot them rather quickly on my office floor.

The "unofficial" stuff. 1 Anti-Monopoly, a Parker Brothers ad from 1962 McCall's magazine, a "Marine Game" based
loosely on Monopoly,
Your Home town Monopoly for Vail, Colorado (not Authorized)
The box on the left contains very rare Monopoly chewing gum. This is a complete retail box of 48 packs. Each contains
a "life sized" $50 Monopoly bill, a Community Chest Card, and a Boardwalk Property deed - all gum. They also contain
stickers. This product was never released due to manufacturing defects - the gum sticks to the packing paper. It is no longer
in production and next to impossible to find.

Just so you know, there is no newpics05.jpg. It was a copy of newpics04.jpg.

A whole bunch of games from the 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80,s and 90's. Also a couple of spare boards, and
a special guest appearance by Adobe the cat. Most are complete and range in condition from poor to near mint.
The reason I have so many is that there are minor variations in the logos and manufacturers (Parker Brothers
has changed owners many many times!) as well as boards and boxes, and I'm striving to have "one of each"!

Here's a whole mess of older games. From the 30's to the 50's.
Of special note is the third one form the left in the top row - it's a verified 1935 FIRST PRINTING Parker Brothers
"Patent Pending" edition. There are no Parker Brothers copyrights or patents on the board, box or equipment,
just "Patent Pending".
The original board has "10% or $300" on Income Tax rather than "10% or $200" on games produced after 1935.
This is a truly rare Monopoly game - only two versions are older, the coveted "Trademark" sets, which are nearly
impossible to find, and the original 5,000 Charles Darrow games, which are more expensive than most used cars.

cartridge, Super NES Monopoly cartridge, 2 Sega Genesis Monopoly Cartridges, Monopoly for PC (2 versions), Amiga, Mac.

Junior.

Plastic Monopoly logo pitcher with 6 glasses. 3 McDonald's prize glasses. 1 really neat little glass with the utility
logos on it. It's perfect for a glass of Crown Royal at the end of hard day!

Picture 1 of my living room wall. Each of the games pictured is a complete game, and not pictured in other parts of
this page.

Picture 2 of my living room wall. The board on the left is an "unofficial" hand-tooled leather board in a wooden frame.
The game on the right is an older 1936 game that was missing pieces and is pasted up to look like a game in progress. (I have another
one not pictured here in really poor shape - that was Snoopy the dog's fault). The three small boxes are from older incomplete
games I have.

Picture 3 of my living room wall. These are six foreign sets as they hang in the corner of my living room. They are also pictured
in the main area of this site.
