IT consulting

Sometimes you need a straight answer before spending money on technology. I can help you compare options, review recommendations, and decide what makes sense for your home or business, including when your existing setup is already enough.

What to expect

Independent advice

You pay for my time and expertise. I do not take sales commissions or add a markup to products, so recommendations are based on what makes sense for you.

Recommendations with reasons

You get a plain-English recommendation, along with the costs, tradeoffs, and reasoning behind it. A written summary is available on request, so you have something to refer to or share with others involved in the decision.

Honesty about the limits

My experience covers many areas of technology. When a question calls for specialist expertise, I will say so and help you find the right person.

Not sure what you need?

That is a perfectly good place to start. You do not need technical terms or a finished plan. Just tell me what you are considering and where you would like some guidance, and we can go from there.
